OUR LOVE STORY

Selena and Von's story begins in a place no one would expect. It was a day like any other when Von stood behind the counter, tending to customers and conversations. At that very moment, Selena arrived searching for a Fitbit, a small tool meant to support her demanding  job. Neither of them could have imagined that this simple task would quietly alter the course of their lives.

Some might call it coincidence. Others might call it fate. But they know it was God’s perfect timing.

Their paths crossed, and what began as a brief encounter soon unfolded into something far greater. Not long after, a first date was planned—though, in true storybook fashion, the original location did not quite work out. Yet what could have been a disappointment instead became something beautifully spontaneous. That evening marked the beginning of many adventures, many memories, and many moments that would shape their journey together.

On December 24, 2021, their courtship officially began.

As the seasons passed, Von and Selena explored the world side by side—visiting beautiful places, laughing over the little things, and learning the true meaning of partnership. Like all great love stories, theirs held moments of both sunshine and storm, yet through every chapter they held tightly to what mattered most: love, family, and faith in God above all else.

Three years into their journey, Von knew his heart had found its forever home. On a beautiful day in St. Maarten, October 1, 2025, he surprised Selena with a proposal that would mark the beginning of their next chapter—a covenant before God and a promise to walk through life hand in hand.

And now, the story continues.

deposit & payment schedule

How To Reserve Your Trip

Our agency offers two convenient ways for you to submit your deposit and future payments. We accept payments via Zelle or Credit/Debit cards. Please use the following email [email protected], if you're submitting your payment via Zelle, also add "One Love Owens Destination Wedding" in the memo section.

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable

If you're paying by credit or debit card your deposit will be $51.75 per person. In order to prevent a delay in processing your payment, please add your three or 4 digit security code in the comment section for the card  you're submitting for your deposit.

If you're paying by Zelle your payment is $50.00 per person

​DEPOSIT IS DUE BY:  April 18, 2026.
FINAL PAYMENT DUE: JANUARY 8, 2027

A payment of $50.00 per person is due monthly in order to keep your reservation active. Failure to make a payment can result in the cancellation of your reservation.

Final payments are subject to cancellation if final payment is not paid by the due date.
​Final payment extensions are at the sole discretion of the travel supplier and not Rich Events. 

Travel Insurance is highly recommended.

reservation terms & conditions

  • Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of our agency Terms and Conditions .
  • You are required to register your name as it appears on your Passport along with your date of birth when making your reservation.  
  • Roommates are required to make their initial deposit together. If payment is not received the same day of the lead passenger, the additional guest(s) will incur a $55.00 reservation revision fee when added to the reservation.
  • Once your reservation is made you will receive an Invoice Approval. The Invoice Approval is not a receipt, it's an Invoice of your pending reservation for you to review, make sure all information is correct, including the spelling of your name, demographic information, and room selection. Your payment will not be processed or submitted to our provider until the agency has received your signed Approval. The Invoice Approval must be signed by both travelers, unless you're husband/wife, or children traveling with parents under the age of 18. 
  • All guest(s) on the reservation must be up to date with his/her payments.  
  • Deposits are ​non-refundable and non-transferable. This  is because Rich Events has contractual agreements with cruise lines, hotels,
    airlines and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds.     ​​​
  • Please contact Rich Events of missed payment or cancellation in writing. If no contact is made within 7 days of the missed payment Rich Events will assume
    that you have canceled your reservation and no refunds will be issued. 
  • ​​​​Passports are required to be valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. Some countries require a full blank "VISA" page in the passport for stamping purposes. Any information provided on travel description pertains to US citizens only. Non-US citizens should check the respective consulate of the country(s) to be visited for current entry requirements.
  • ​Name changes or additions are allowed for a revision fee of $55.00 up until the final payment date. Reservations revisions are prohibited after final payment.
  • If cancellation occurs and the occupancy of the room falls below the initial occupancy, payments must be paid to satisfy the adjusted room rate.  Any new guest(s) added to the reservation will have to make all scheduled payments up to date in addition to the Reservation Revision Fee of $55.00.
  • Cancelled reservations will incur a $100.00PP cancellation fee.
  • Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Therefore we recommend purchasing Travel Protection. Your current medical insurance may not cover any medical issues you may incur during international travel. 
TRAVEL CHECKLIST
  • Traveling abroad requires a passport valid six months beyond your travel dates. Please take a look at your passport right now to be sure it does not expire soon. Refunds will not be provided for expired passports.
  • ​Travel Insurance is highly recommended. 
  • ​​Communication is key. It is the travelers responsibility to notify Rich Events of any changes to your mailing or email address.
  • ​Provided full payment is received no later than your final payment due date, travel documents will be sent via mail or email 20 days or earlier prior to travel.
